Licensing For Feral Swine Holding and Dealers

H.4847 would permit the Department of Natural Resources to issue feral swine holding licenses. The bill would also allow feral swine to be held on private property by a feral swine holding facility owner or feral swine dealer. Finally, the bill would permit feral swine and feral swine products to be sold commercially.

This would loosen current feral swine restrictions and provide more opportunities for South Carolina hunters and entrepreneurs. While it still requires a license, it is a step in the right direction.
